Jungheinrich will be showcasing several of their efficient forklift trucks at the CeMAT fair in Hanover in May 27-31, 2008. The centerpiece of the companys presentation will be the Concept 08 a forklift vehicle that features a completely new energy storage and drive concept, using a new battery technology. Jungheinrich will present its new combustion engine forklift truck with hydrostatic drive to the trade fair visitors for the first time. The new forklift truck is an extremely quiet VFG 425s-435s type high tech truck that boasts the lowest emision values as well as the highest handling turnover rates with the least consumption with minimal impact on the environment. This counterbalance stacker is able to transport up to 3,500 kilograms, stack up to a lift height of 7.50 meters an dis equipped with hydrostatic drive technology. The Volkswagen engine that can be used in both diesel and gas versions make up the core component of this Jungheinrick forklift truck.
Also on display for the first time at CeMAT from Jungheinrich will be the electric order picker/tri-lateral stacker. The EKX 513-515 fits future demands of warehouse logistics and comes with RFID floor control. This innovative feature means speeds can be adapted to the respective floor topology, so a constant position measurement is carried out for accurate recognition of all stock areas. The EKX 513-515 Jungheinrich order picker has a carrying capacity of up to 1,500 kilograms and can achieve lift heights of more than 15 meters and it includes a 80- volt 3 phase AC technology which means better performance in the narrow aisle warehouse sector. The new Jungheinrich modular system also means that various configuration options make it possible to adapt this combination stacker to a wide variety of customer needs.
