The CeMAT expo in Hanover on May 27-31 2008 is fast approaching and Jungheinrich will be looking to focus its display of its latest energy efficiency and drive technology. The company will be unveiling its centerpiece the Concept 08 a vehicle that has been designed with a completely new energy storage and drive concept. The future battery technology will come in a compact design and greater ergonomic enhancements. Jungheinrich pallet stackers already come with the environmentally friendly three phase AC technology and the highly efficient direct drive only further intensives this development. The company will also be unveiling its new combustion engine fork-lift truck with hydrostatic drive at the fair. The new truck has an extremely quiet VFG 425s-435s type high-tech truck and it offers the least consumption and minimal impact on the environment. This Jungheinrich counterbalance stacker can transport 3,500 kilograms and stack up to a lift height of 7.50 meters and also comes with hydrostatic drive technology.
The latest model to be showcased from the Jungheinrich pallet stacker family is the Kombi stacker EKX 513-515 electric order picker. The newest addition has a carrying capacity of up to 1,500 kilograms and is able to achieve lift heights of more than 15 meters. The Jungheinrich pallet stacker features the RFID floor control and 80-volt 3-phase AC technology. Another item that will on display is the electric pedestrian Jungheinrich pallet truck ERE 225 with a fixed stand-on platform. The machine comes with a new ergonomic platform as well as the electric tiller that provides the highest possible driver comfort. The pallet stacker ERE 225 has top speeds of up to 12.5 km/h and can transport loads of up to 2,500 kg. This pallet truck follows on the heels of another electric pallet truck the EJE C20 which was released on to the market in 2007.
