The G5-18A telehandler offers operator comfort and machine maneuverability with lift capacity and reach to create a versatile and powerful compact telehandler. The G5-18A JLG telehandler has a maximum lifting capacity of 5,500 pounds and a lifting capacity of 1,850 pounds when at the fully extended reach of 11ft. So far this provides the best capacity in the compact telehandler class in the range.
The standard features are the three operator-selectable steering modes including 4 wheel circle, 4 wheel crab and 2 wheel steering. The telehandler has a 126 inch turning radius which makes it a top choice for confined or busy work sites. The JLG telehandler also comes with standard maintenance intervals of 500 hours which is 100% longer than other compact telehandlers in its range. The model will work best for landscapers and transporting pallets of sod, stone and brick, as well as loading and unloading mulch or for transporting large nursery stock. The G5-18A has a 18 foot maximum boom height and over 10 feet of reach which gives the operator easy access to hard to reach areas such as over retaining walls and into enclosed trucks and flat beds.
