Linde At Cemat 2008 02/04/2008 At CeMat 2008 Linde Material Handling introduced a new range of low emission Linde Pallet stackers. The new 5 to 8 tonne pallet stackers will be in the 39x series of Linde pallet stackers and will set the standard for low emission trucks. The Linde pallet stackers will be mostly found in the building materials industry, the retail sector, the beverage industry, the iron and metal-processing industry and the paper and printing industry. The new Linde pallet stackers will be loading and unloading bulky loads up to a height of 8.5 meters. The new additions will feature clear sight lines, high residual capacities and low mast deflection, the low mast deflection is vital if loads need to be handled quickly and safely. The high residual capacities were obtained by the high leverage provided by the overhead tilt cylinders, which also mean the mast profile can be narrower. The view from the mast has been extended by nearly one-fifth according to Linde. Developed by Linde the new triplex mast means the operator has an increased 18 per cent larger field of vision. The Linde pallet stacker also features torsion support and the torsion rack which also amplifies the mast design. The design is an industry first and offers great stability. The unique system is connects the mast to the counterweight and stabilizes it against the lateral torsion. The torsion rack is then attached to the front of the mast and is fed between the torsion supports on rollers, which then limits the mast twist oscillation. This results in much more rigidity within the mast, even at high lifts with large or swinging loads. |
